Are you really wanting to celebrate St Patrick's day? Last year i made a traditional corned beef dinner. It is my families favorite! They actually CHEERED when they saw I unloaded TWO corned beefs when i bought groceries this year.

I am also posting this way early so you have time to buy what you need to get this for you dinner. It is very inexpensive, and VERY good!
One thing i really would like to ask, before you turn your nose up and say "ewwww, i don't wanna try that" just flip over the snaps in the older posts and make certain you can walk away from that and not feel and OH MY GOSH i gotta try this!
