The ground feeder worked!

I bought a second hand broiler bottom to use for feed for my pheasant. i had it near the blue bird house but he never went near it and i gave up on it so i moved it beneath my feeders outside of my bay window. I thought at least the doves will enjoy it.


Well look at who was there at 7 am today! This is right next to the window I am looking over the back of the couch and Snooker (my gray cat) is sitting on the sill watching. I am certain she is thinking "That is the biggest bird dinner I have ever seen!" (the lights are my Christmas lights)

The rain last night has the feeder full of water, but that certainly didn't stop him from pecking at the seed.
