My daughter was given a prom gown. But when she tried it on it gaped in the front. After some thought we decided that perhaps we needed some straps for it.
We wanted something that was sturdy enough, but yet did not take away from the elegance of the simple red dress.
So she and I decided on some red ribbon. What we were able to find in our stores around there though were to wide. Although we did get a GREAT color match.
So we folded the ribbon in half and stitched it down, then as an added "so we can't tell" top stitched the fold. With a simple fitting and some hand stitching we should have this ready for wear!
